Together Again by Kidda [Breaks Hip-Hop Soul] w/ Free Download

In the music industry there are always some acts relatively unknown and you find yourself asking the question, “Why?”. In the dance music scene of Breakbeats, I ask myself, “Why is UK’s Doctor Feelgood, Kidda not regarded to be one of the greatest there is?” Exceptional as always, the new single soon to be released by ‘Together Again’.

The Whistler by Kidda | Single Review

The Whistler is just adorable; pleasant, soothing, laid back and emitting a “not-a-care-in-the-World” vibe that only comes with material such as this. The score is flows with snippets of heart-warming trumpets, soft and subtle acoustic guitaring with a proper sounding drum track and vocals that promote a soulful positivity after hardship: I could go on!

Last Days Of Meaning & Daydream by Nitin Sawhney | The Engine Earz Remixes | Official Free Download

Nitin Sawhney has this brilliantly produced and I must check out his work out further. I’m nearly bordering on embarrassment for not finding his immense catalogue of material sooner. The man appears to have more talent and skill than the entire SyCo empire.

Beats Working Vol 1 DJ Mix by A. Skillz | Mixes | Official Free Download

With some hip hop tricks, the breakbeat bounce and the soul vibe it’s one of the best party mixes you’re ever likely to come across. This man can put together such a long string of tunes in such a short time, demonstrating a skill and presenting himself as an audio artist of the highest calibre.

BitterSweetHeartAttacks by Great Imitation | Single Review | Official Music Video

Upon first sight and sound in this spit-and-saw dust venue I was expecting the usual. Too loud, unbalanced and still, too loud. Not because I’m getting old or anything – although sometimes I feel it – it’s just that small venues can’t deal with a big sound. What I heard was crisp, refined and borderline insanity.

We’re New Here by Gil Scott-Heron & Jamie xx | Album Review

By far, the smartest move in the music industry this year, Jamie xx from the band The xx has remixed Gil Scott-Heron’s album that was released just over one year ago titled I’m New Here.

The Defamation Of Strickland Banks by Plan B | Album Review

Plan B has managed to create an album which has all the traits from an excellent hip-Hop record but the big band sound, the pianos, the acoustic guitars are not that new. The main difference I noticed on this are the greater resemblances to the 60′s Soul and Motown sound. That takes a greater amount of maturity to pull off. His vocal talents bounce between the Brixton Grime and a likeness to The Temptations.

Black Rock by Joe Bonamassa | Album Review

Black Rock is the latest release from the Blues/Rock guitaring maestro that is, Joe Bonamassa. I could say living legend but if he has only recently passed my ears then I’ve either my head in the sand or his riffs haven’t carried over to me far enough.

We’re On Our Own by Exit Calm | Single Review

I envisage this band to be bigger than Kasabian and I would hope so too. I’m very much hooked into their sound after seeing them live as a support band. I ended up preferring them to the main band on the bill.

Lungs by Florence and The Machine | Album Review

Florence Welch has a delectable voice full of passion, power and screams out her soul beautifully with harmony, strength and subtlety. Her range is quite impressive with lyrics that are honest, epical and anapestic.
