Automatic by Ronika [Techno Pop]
As with fashion, music moves in cycles as well and it seems that there is one lady in particular leading the rejuvenation of 80′s popular music. Singer, songwriter and producer Ronika is such a talent, I believe that this multi-skilled musician has the ability to turn a great deal amount of heads with not only this release but many more to come.

Ghosts by The Ghosts [Indie Pop Dance]
Dreamy synth-pop is something which is appreciated by many nowadays as well as way back when it was initially conceived in the 80′s. As the spinning wheel of music comes back round again ‘The Ghosts’ are a new band that will rise out into the bright lights of stardom thanks to their exquisite sound.
Better Than A BMX by Hervé w/ Housquare and Afghan Headspin Remixes [Pop House]
It has been a long time coming but we promise you it is more than worth the wait. One of the most prolific and versatile producers in the UK Hervé, AKA Joshua Harvey, is back with a new single Better Than A BMX, released on the 26th February, the first track to be released from his debut artist album ‘Pick Me Up, Sort Me Out, Calm Me Down’ set to drop next year on Cheap Thrills.
What The Water Gave Me by Florence And The Machine | Single Review | Official Music Video
It is unmistakably Florence And The Machine. After her small stint with a Rascal and her award winning debut ‘Lungs’, this lady is most definitely welcomed back with open arms.
Within And Without by Washed Out | Album Review
Amongst the blogosphere 28 year old Greene has made a name for himself albeit under his now professional title. Having begun as a Bedroom Producer his work has travelled far and wide, stretching far, far away from his relatively humble beginnings rooted rural Georgia, US.
The Death Of You And Me by Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds | Single Review | Official Music Video
The ‘High Flying Birds’ are not 6 air-hostesses, they are all quality musicians in their own right who, in a way, simply asked to be in Noel’s band. The ‘Birds include Mike Roe who played keyboards on the ‘Be Here Now’ tour for Oasis, Russell Pritchard from The Zutons and even a Liverpudlian guitarist named Macca
Forget Yourself / Wiyoo by Ronika | EP Review
You just can’t ignore the fact that the 80′s were great for music. The insurgence of synthesisers taking over from generic musicians after the mass movement of disco in the late 70′s, it was then when music changed and is a prominent part of dance music history. With the likes of Chromeo injecting their saucy disco-punk nowadays, La Roux dabbling with the same it’s good that the taste and flavour of this era is living on. It appears that it still is within new artist, Ronika.

Sometimes when you’re struggling to muster some motivation for yourself, you need a kick up the backside to get you going. Usually it can be harsh words from your partner. Threatening action from your boss. The likelihood of being grounded. Or, it can just take a good tune.
The Fall by Gorillaz | Album Review
Music can very much be a motivator. Using the rhythmic vibrations to get your heart pumping, your mind set ready for the challenge that awaits you. Then, on the other hand, it can chill you out, put you into a state of sedation and bring you back from that challenge that you had to contest with earlier.
On A Mission by Katy B | Album Review
First, don’t think that this is full of dubstep because that would be wrong. Secondly, think about the sweet, subtle, seductive ways of ghetto-free RnB, UK style. That would be appropriate, I reckon.
Iron by Woodkid | EP Review | Official Music Video
Heading along the same lines as The Shoes with their chilled out, warming and heartfelt lyrical electronica. We have a man who is following a similar path who goes by the name of Woodkid. Electro-acoustic I’d say.
