With the seraphic vocals of Soundmouse you begin to immediately slumber down, relax and you can feel the weight on your shoulders disperse into the air. The sombre vibe from this ambient electro-acoustic work is filled with minimal yet carefully constructed orchestration with some Burial crackling effects giving it a rawness, an authenticity, even making it moody.

It is not very often you feel immediately ambuscaded into a sound, surrounded by the tenderness that the vocalist from the Wild Beasts’ Hayden Thorpe produces with such passive vehemence.
