Brothers by The Black Keys | Album Review
I am just wondering how an awesome band such as The Black Keys have totally deserted my radar though. I’ve never heard of them up until yesterday. I am entirely overwhelmed by the glorious psychedelic, Bluesy-Rock sound which could put many a 60′s Woodstock band to utter shame. This is superb!

Black Rock by Joe Bonamassa | Album Review
Black Rock is the latest release from the Blues/Rock guitaring maestro that is, Joe Bonamassa. I could say living legend but if he has only recently passed my ears then I’ve either my head in the sand or his riffs haven’t carried over to me far enough.

Have One On Me by Joanna Newsom
If there was ever a voice that managed to captivate you. Place you into a dumb trance because of the sweet delights released from the vocal chords as well as the delectable vibrations emanating from a glorious harp. This is a voice that will certainly do that. What a trance I am now in.

WHB by We Have Band | Album Review
The electronics are not strong enough nor as prominent to be classed as Electro. The instruments are not hard enough to be classed as Rock, so we have a subtle crossover and a delicate blend between the two.

Tales From The Doombox by Subsource | Album Review
GALVANIZED bass and searing electro beats muscling their way out of the cyberpunk bubble with a boom rather than a bang. As James Brown may say, this IS my bag. This band with genuine aphrodisia are releasing their debut album with tunes that would perfectly suit the full moon moments where “The Bitten” change into the animals for the night unleashing deafening roars.

AUDIO BULLYS have returned with their vogue of the ever increasing in populartity, electro-punk. Are they still managing to produce some bombing tunes? With the release of their single Only Man with remixes left, right and centre from all of the colours of the dance music spectrum we do in did, have an absolutely brilliant record.

The Winter Of Mixed Drink by Frightened Rabbit | Album Review
RECENTLY with band such as Mumford & Sons, Fleet Foxes and here Frightened Rabbit we are blessed to have a great country brimming with talent. More so, Scotland. Glasgow is the home of these boys that bring a stew of wondrous sounds of big, cylindrical drums, piano’s and great harmonies of an orchestral, uplifting feel with the soothing, rawness of the Strathclyde dialect.

No Guts, No Glory by Airbourne | Album Review
Everyone loves a good rock tune. Feel-good chemicals are naturally released in the brain caused by these vibrations emitting from the stereo. When The Darkness (bless ‘em) literally pierced the charts with the voice of a wailing pussycat and classic rock, guitar strokes it stirred many a maiden, had plenty of geezers waving their hands in the form of “The Horns” generally made lots of people smile.
