Brick By Brick by Arctic Monkeys | Single Review

Brick By Brick by Arctic Monkeys | thetruejoe90.com

Without warning, heads up or just not telling anyone, Arctic Monkeys have let out a new track just simply by uploading it onto the net and pasting their website address across the social media formats that they are connected with. Subtle.

The track was produced in America by Simian Mobile Disco chap James Ford and to be honest, it’s not your run off the mill record. It would be if we were still in the 70′s because that’s the feel you get from Brick By Brick.

It’s a rock and roll record full stop. I reckon it’s kind of crossed between The Doors and Them Crooked Vultures. This is more of a musicians record rather than one for the fans. A teaser for sure. I do like the sound of a classic genre in a classic era.

So a new album coming out soon then? “Suck It And See” is out on Monday 6th June 2011
