What The Water Gave Me by Florence And The Machine | Single Review | Official Music Video

It is unmistakably Florence And The Machine. After her small stint with a Rascal and her award winning debut ‘Lungs’, this lady is most definitely welcomed back with open arms.
Is it that “difficult second album” time for Florence Welch and her ‘Machine’? In the build-up towards the currently untitled album’s November release, the brand new single ‘What The Water Gave Me’ shows signs that the process in creating ‘Album 2′ was in fact, not that very difficult at all.
Her delectable sound and earthy, natural aura in her work comes through in this very full bodied record. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios the room has been opened up to her arena filling voice. The thumping progressive bass being finger licked along with the huge crashing cymbals unleashing more energy than the sun as the almost haunting organ plays throughout almost entirely buried behind the strong-willed choir that majestically creates goosebumps everywhere.
It is unmistakably Florence And The Machine. After her small stint with a Rascal and her award winning debut ‘Lungs’, this lady is most definitely welcomed back with open arms.
‘What The Water Gave Me’ by Florence And The Machine is out globally from August 24th 2011 released by Universal-Island Records. ‘Ceremonials’ is released on November 7th 2011.
