Rush Hour by The Toxic Avenger
She Came Along by Sharam feat Kid Cudi The Jean Elan Remix
When you get to the club and you’re having a dancefloor session of an evening there’s always a point when you need to chill out in the Green Room for a bit. This is the kind of track that’ll drag you back on it after you hear the tweaks when you’ve peered up browsing around like a meercat going, “What’s this? What is THIS?!” This is a pearler.
The Dance With You Mix by Pro7
After stretching out over the last couple of months to truly find something special, again, yes AGAIN, I am finding the French are doing electro and techno better than everyone else. It’s got some solid, steady beats with a great touch of sleaze and sexiness that’ll drive the libido into the stratosphere on the dancefloor, perhaps wishing that you were under the covers.

Vitalic

I have no reason for my admiration for French Electronica. Why do I seem to appreciate so much is beyond me. So to come across this particular Artist/DJ/Producer is almost overwhelming due to the divine beats, tweeks and bleeps this gentleman creates and unleashes through my speakers.
Vitalic from Dijon, France has recently-ish released Flashmob. To be honest, I’m struggling to put one track on here that can truly allow you to feel the masterful vibrations created. Poison Lips would be the best one really would as it reminds me so much of the original House music anthem by Donna Summer.
The tracks are at a comfortable dancing pace suited for all. The depth of the music is almost sordid at times with a naughty, sleazy twinge and along with the harmonious overtones that balance the music out shows intelligence as only the successful producers in my opinion can achieve. It’s all about balance I say. I would expect myself to be quite off balance after visiting a venue where he would be performing.
The tunes are sweetly delivered, progressing into what can become a frantic display of an unleashing rejuvenation.
It’s light, it’s hard, it’s sweet, it’s sleazy, naughty and just awesome.
This is a perfect example of why I love French Electronica.

This Could Be Real by Sub Focus
After a fantastic 2009 for SubFocus he’s starting as he means to go on with the release of this new track which has the typical variations for the hardcore clubber and the ever popular radio listener. This has a delightful house feel along with a right grimey dub tinge to it. No doubt this is going to everywhere and if it isn’t, WTF not?

Paris To London by Mowgli
Da Hasta by Dario Nunez feat DJ Nano
Bulgaria by Nomek
Travolta Fever by Council Estate Supermodels The Lazy Rich Remix
Cracking little number from Council Estate Supermodels with a personal touch from Lazy Rich. It’s got that humble bounce with that cheeky growl that’s making it difficult for anyone not to smile when this track is in full swing. Nicely spliced and pasted. I’d buy it!
Council Estate Supermodels – Travolta Fever (Lazy Rich Remix) by Total Label Management
Rollin by Sidel The Quadrat Beat Remix
I haven’t heard a dance track that has really done for me just of late but getting ready for the new year, the new decade I can safely say that i welcome it all with this filth-laced breaks rumbler.

Toni G

Spanish DJ and producer Toni G has a rake of tunes available to download on the big name dance tune websites. But they are not on here.
After checking out only a couple of his tunes I definately find them minimal being as that is how he has labelled the genre he is producing under. But there’s minimal and there’s lacking musical talent.
To be fair to the guy, he’s got the right beat and the right timing for the tunes coming out, however, I reckon they are just way out of the right key, they are at that annoying level of tone or if you like, they require being downtuned a step or two to give the tracks depth, some humming, some bass, some feel, some body, some oomph. They just lack passion, lust, that is what house music is all about.
The tracks are annoying vocally, having very little attraction to a former hardcore clubber like myself as well as making go to the green Roo until the change of hands on the decks. I really do not mind the minimal electro style, in fact I rather love it.
But Toni G only rewarded me with cheese.
