Returning to the airwaves after a long summer is The Twang with their second album release after Love It When I Feel Like This with Jewellery Quarter. Welcomed with open arms, pretty much everywhere, after listening to the album, you’ll see and hear why.
Flowing imperceptibly like the Stone Roses, lyrically charming similar to Doherty with greater decipherment and musically intellectual with bouyant beats, anthemic vibes and quite simply, pleasing. With a 5 piece band you’d expect to hear a fullness of sound, some power and strength. That my friends is certainly what we get.
Doing the V Festival at the end of August will have the band creating massive further awareness upon their already glorious, ever esculating fanbase. This record will no doubt hit gold with out shadow of doubt.
I find their work elequently poetic, totally without hostility and supremely courteous with a level of aggression that shows wonderful passion and lust.
I never really listened to them a great deal before but always being recommened by my friend Mr Dave Myles. Obviously, he has good taste. I like The Twang, you should too.
