It’s nice to hear some sexy, fun and funky breaks and these are brought to us courtesy of @timewarpmusicgr with Timewarp Inc who have returned after a two year hiatus with the Yuil Disco Breaks EP.

This single has a couple of different versions; all of which are proper smilers with a vitalising bass, an infectious, classic disco house vibe and funky breaks.

There are four takes in total. The soulful and steady Soundsystem version with the seductive vocals and then there is the instrumental with additional trumpets adding a further touch of class amongst the subtle scratches and that bassline which is still lingering within your mind hours after hearing it.

This is one of those tracks that would fit right into a Krafty Kuts or an A.Skillz set. It has that kind of funk.

DJ Tzinas & The Redgreen Wood Soundsystem have a remix that has preety much kept everything by the sounds of it and merely added a small touch of sub and fuller in drums clashes. There isn’t much to tell them apart but to fill the room up a bit then of course, a little sub doesn’t do any harm, but it is only a little.

However, the biggest twist is the Zamali remix. It is a housey take but with trance echoes and further tech to this disco vibe which makes it awkward and difficult to pigeon-hole. It is darker, positively sleazier and along the lines of the deeper instrumental works by LCD Soundsystem which of course is really quite lovely.

This is a pleasure to listen to.
