Moby has had a few remixes done on a couple of his tracks but nothing excites me more than these. Especially if anything involves Heather Graham.

Victoria Lucas is one of the tracks from his free official downloadable EP, Be The One which was an incredible tease for his album release. Further teasing still we have this moody number.

The almost stereotypical dreamscape aura that surrounds this track is of course done by arguably the world’s greatest DJ, Sasha. So to have one of the world’s greatest music producers with one the world greatest live DJ’s, well, what would you think would happen? A progressive house number with a moody soul with a rock steady beat with ghostly effects uplifted by a solid bassline, this is blissful.

One of the others is on the title track which is truly a fabulous piece from French chap, Gesaffelstein. This man is creating some sublime work of late as his name is affiliated with the likes of Skream, Cassius, The Shoes and now Moby. This is very 80′s electronica like Gary Numan but not so dark or industrial, just perhaps more woeful yet with great warmth. It has such a simplicity as well. It’s a delightful record.

UK readers can get Moby tickets for a one-off gig at the Roundhouse in London on Thursday June 2nd 2011 by clicking HERE or the link below.
