The End by Hyper | The Beatman & Ludmilla Remix | Single Review

Make no mistake, I’m a bit of a rocker. I grew up on Metallica, Faith No More, Pantera, all that kind of jazz. So I’m fond of a heavy guitar riff. Hyper‘s latest dance release mixed up with Beatman & Ludmilla‘s dub-steppy breakbeats remix very much has classic metal guitar riffs.
The track is fast paced having a sense of urgency. The End is indeed coming.
On the original version – below – alongside the metallic riff we’ve got epic vocals that would cause a moshpit to form within the centre of the clubland dance-floor and chaos would evolve from it. The synths soar, the riffs are a beauty and the power downs just give it great strength.
On the remixed version – below -which for me has far more flavour, the pace is inclined, the grime dub is injected and there is one storming track that is not appreciated by those that are weak. The background beat has a tech house bounce similar to deadmau5. The riffs have more Prodigy taste rather than a Pendulum one and the sounds that emit are almost hardcore without being too filthy or frantic.
This is an absolute blinder. If Bass Cannon by Flux Pavillion beats this in the charts then there is something seriously wrong. This is quality breaks with far better dubstep essences than most of the work out there.
The End by Hyper The Beatman & Ludmilla Remix is out now released by Distinctive Records.

P.S. To any Hungarian readers, I’m sorry not to have a link for you included above but iTunes will not let me make one. Click the Amazon link and take it from there. That is what I suggest or try a different country.
