Take It Back ft Shola Ama by Toddla T | The Original & Dillon Francis Remix | Single Review | Official Music Video | Official Free Download

Sometimes when you’re struggling to muster some motivation for yourself, you need a kick up the backside to get you going. Usually it can be harsh words from your partner. Threatening action from your boss. The likelihood of being grounded. Or, it can just take a good tune.
Take It Back from Toddla T is one of those tracks that certainly take’s you back. Reminiscent of the 90′s rave scene with the keyboard riffs, a steady vocal house beat and the sweet vibe of love, life and unity. The Dillon Francis remix is a little more modern. A moombahton version bringing a touch of depth and making the original a harder dancefloor stomper. The mid tempo bass is proper, beach party skanking. If you don’t think it’s your thing, give it a couple of listens and you’ll be infected by the highly contagious vibe. DJ legend, Zane Lowe made this his Hottest Record In The World on his BBC Radio 1 show. It’s that hot, it’s everywhere and it’s an Official Free Download which you can get by clicking the arrow ink in the player below.
The official video to the track is like This Is England ’96 set in suburban London in an area, at the time synonymous with pirate radio and young producers sharing their love for underground music. Toddla T however, is a little bit above that now.
Take It Back ft Shola Ama by Toddla T is out now released by Ninja Tune records.
