Kiss Me by Tram Dolls The Remixes [Electro House]

Kiss Me - Tram Dolls - Remixes - Skint Records - thetruejoe90.com

This remixes single EP ‘Kiss Me’ from Skint Records is a piece from a very well known producer who is going under the pseudonym ‘Tram Dolls’ for this release which delivers us some progressive House and Electro smackers.

We have a release by someone going under the name of Tram Dolls; an already credible artist going with a pseudonym which has three remixes by credible artists. An interesting selling point but it’s the music that sells a record (most of the time) and the first remixed version by Ben Berry aka Fear Of Tigers certainly will sell a few. The track by the remixers of Kylie, Ellie Goulding and the like have this disco tinged upbeat party number with a few tweaks and bleeps and a funky guitar riff flowing throughout giving the tune a nice 70′s shake-your-ass groove. It’s like a revamped Donna Summer track in places with the jovial sleaze of a dirty club night but with a vocal style of laidback cheeky confidence.

Sonny Wharton who has managed to turn a few heads over the last couple of years has a his version more heading down the progressive house route making the track more refined with chilled instrumental parts filled up with small repetitive lyrical samples and a Balearic beat drum-track.

The third remix has a tremendous tease of a build-up and in comparison to the first, this has a touch more electro filth with less of a house vibe and more audacity. This one I must say, is a little more preferable because the electronic twangs with the liveliness of the bass gives the track some energy which then in turn, makes for a more energetic crowd.

This is pretty damn cool. It is lyrical naughty with an infectious bounce, hooks that reels you in and that little bit of cheek in the sound that makes it a fun track to dance to.

Whoever Tram Dolls are or is, they must be someone reinventing themselves like Joel Edwards of Deepest Blue for example. Less of the soft boy and more of the filth please.

‘Kiss Me’ by Tram Dolls The @fearoftigers, @sOnnywharton and The Other Guys Remixes is released by @skintrecords and is out now.
