This is the kind of soul grabbing dubstep that I appreciate more than most and it is ‘Forever’ by Solid Frame.

When listening to it, it sends bizarre vibrations through the ear canal towards your brain causing it to release natural stimulating chemicals that are usually only available in dodgy pubs and dark corners of your favourite nightclub haunt. Haunt is an descriptive word to use too. The sinister bassline when it kicks in does more than make you shiver. The screeching high tones harmonise the track giving it stasis and along with the heartbroken vocals it is as touching as many a Magnetic Man release and as stomping as any Bassnectar.

Ben & Lex break it up with a more fierce drum track on their remix with some progressive waves and a meatier midriff.

Hanuman Tribe destroy the track and rebuild it with further glitches and add a harder stomp..

..whilst Sketi does the same but with more of a flow to it keeping the original’s euphoric ambience.

As for the original, it is an immediate classic dubstep anthem, there’s no argument about it.
