Deep Red by Fake Blood | EP Review w/ Used Vols 1, 2, & 3 Mixes | Official Free Download

Comprising of 3 original works, we have the title track ‘Deep Red’ which comes across as a gutsy, progressive techno tune. ‘Voices’ has some crazy vocal samples and even some coughing in the background which I find slightly weird and has the dirtiest bassline hum.
Ok, it’s not exactly a review as such but another heads-up on the forthcoming EP ‘Deep Red’ by Fake Blood.
Comprising of 3 original works, we have the title track ‘Deep Red’ which comes across as a gutsy, progressive techno tune. ‘Voices’ has some crazy vocal samples and even some coughing in the background which I find slightly weird and has the dirtiest bassline hum. I love the minimalism to the tune and the balance of it but ‘Medieval’ is crazier still. I swear down it’s a harpsichord I can hear levelling out the distorted and grimacing, techy low tones.
Bizarre, but a lot of fun when out and about in clubland as was – and still is – his LIFEGOESON remix of Noah & The Whale.
As a bonus to this teaser, I’ve included the last 3 official free downloads from Fake Blood’s ‘Used’ series with volumes 1, 2 and 3 below the EP-previewing player. Download 1 here, 2 here, and 3 here. 4 and 5 are en route.
The ‘Deep Red’ EP by Fake Blood is out mid-September 2011 and will be released by Cheap Thrills Records.
