‘EXCLUSIVE’ – Monstrous breakbeats are ahead of us with the forthcoming release by Bad Tango and comes in the name of ‘Cortex’ accompanied with the sterling remix from twisted psychedelic electro act Monk3ylogic.

The release itself is out next week but it has been roaming the sets of psybreaks pioneers such as Neurodriver and Hedflux over the Summer months. Now that it has had the feelers put out there and touched up many quite favourably the release is sure to do well, and I for one am loving it.

The original is a relentless barrage of harmonic echoing electronic bleeps with sinister undertones and a dirty bass bounce making it likely to be very much appreciated by Japanese trance producers such as @Tsuyoshi_Suzuki because of the pace and the lovely euphoric vibe.

The @monk3ylogic remix though has far more prominence in the effects and rather than a steady sway we have a stomper. There’s more a touch muscle and it is slightly cheekier with some big fish moments. The break within the release has such a massive clap-your-hands-together trance occasion that if everyone joins in unison when the drop comes down, the Earth would probably tilt of it’s axis. This is like psybreaks with tech-funk from Goa.
