Magnus Albert Vilhelm Wanscher is a young producer from Copenhagen, Denmark who has not only had a music video very artistically created by Tim Hoyle but the simplicity of the track speaks sophistication. A contrast to a cartoon film I guess but this is conservative dubstep. Minimal I suppose. Smart, refined and a serious late night clubland floorfiller.

This is his debut EP titled Albert which consists of four individual tracks which are all rather trippy, psychedelic and ambient. I’m almost shocked by the simplicity, the sincerity and how earnest they appear. There’s far more harmony in this small EP than what you’d find in many dubstep nightclub sets. The filth, the dirt and the grime isn’t always necessary.

This however, is a pleasure.
